Scripture and Photo of the Week
I am starting a new adventure on my blog called, “Scripture and Photo of the Week.” My friend helped create this idea since I wanted to do something on a weekly basis. She suggested I take a picture or find one on the internet, assign a Bible verse to it, and then further elaborate on the verse. So here goes!
(Note: I will try to do this every week, but as we all know, life can get pretty hectic, so bear with me!)

I love this verse! It beautifully describes the wonder of the Bible. The Bible is SO important in knowing how to live as followers of Christ. The purpose of this blog is to walk in truth, and the Bible plays a huge role in knowing how to do that. The Bible is definitely a gift from God. Additionally, the Bible helps us to discern right from wrong, what is true and what is not, and how to be men and women after God’s own heart.
The enemy tells us lies that can seem so real and true, but the Word of God tells us the real truth. That is why it is so very important to read the Bible on a daily basis. This world is getting crazier and crazier by the minute it seems, and it feels like there is so much confusion and darkness. BUT, the Bible helps us and gives us comfort that the Lord is the ultimate ruler of the universe, and the light of the world.
I would like to recommend a daily reading plan called The One Year Bible. The One Year Bible is super cool, especially because it leads the reader through the whole Bible in one year. Basically, each day it sections out part of the Old Testament, part of the New Testament, and then a Psalm and Proverbs. This has really helped me in continually reading the Bible every day. The One Year Bible can be found at most bookstores and on Amazon.

Amen! I like the One Year Bible too!
